I dance like people wish they weren’t watching.

The highest-performing people, things, businesses, and products were a goddamn mess before they got good. It takes a lot of faith, a mother dose of love, and a dollop of crazy to take something from crap-tacular to 'dent-in-the-universe.' This indeterminant time in between, the struggle of becoming, of wading through mediocrity to competence to performance, is where most things wallow. It is why there aren't more high-performing people, companies, things, and products.
