Every school day for the past 5 years I spend about 20 minutes in the wee morning hours drawing/painting on a bag each for my two youngest kids. This is a very small subset of the total I have done.
Also, this isn't advisable. Lunch bags are simply horrible paper quality. But if you draw and paint on two bags every day FOR YEARS you get used to it and even feel weird when you try better quality paper, as if you are being extravagant using such fine paper in a world where good paper doesn't exist.

How do my kids deal with it? They are pretty severe critics, actually, and have a lot to say when the work is below their expectations.
